Benedict Eccles

Head of Consultancy Practice



Benedict is a chartered psychologist specialising in learning and organisational development. He currently oversees projects with Policing organisations, Civil Service, Health Education England, NHS England, and direct government bodies.

Previously, he has worked with organisations in various sectors, ranging from global financial organisations, such as the Bank of England, to manufacturing with Jaguar Land Rover, as well as within UK heritage and cultural sectors at the National Trust, and for International governments, including the UN and European Union. For the UK government, Benedict has worked as a lead consultant with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Home Office and has led coaching and ALS activities for leaders in the Department of Health, Cabinet Office, and Ministry of Defence.

Benedict has vast experience of designing assessment and development centres for various leadership levels and accelerated promotion programmes. As a facilitator and qualified coach, he has worked extensively with new managers, through to FTSE 100 CEOs, and government ministers.

Since 2006 he has coached approximately half of the National Police Chiefs Council current membership, and has also worked internationally delivering police leadership and organisational development programmes in several EMEA countries.

As well as being an associate Fellow of the British Psychological Association, he is a certified coach and a principal practitioner with the Association for Business Psychology, in both cognitive behavioural approaches to development and development through emotional intelligence.
