We are delighted to announce that Jon Restell, Chief Executive of specialist health and care union Managers in Partnership (MiP), has been appointed as a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of our board here at Skills for Justice.
As a not-for-profit organisation committed to the development of an improved and sustainable justice workforce across the UK, Jon joins our diverse board of members, formed of a broad spectrum of public sector leaders who come together to inform, agree and lead the organisational strategy to achieve this.

Throughout his career, Jon has developed particular expertise in working to improve workplace culture and diversity, especially in building resilience among union members. Having tutored leadership programmes for middle managers, with a particular focus on the value of good line management he said: "No one should begin and end their working lives with the same skills. If we are to recover from the pandemic successfully and build back better for everyone, then skills development is a must and organisations like Skills for Justice have a key part to play.”
