Associate ConsultantJan has over thirty years of experience working as a clinician and manager in a variety of settings across the health and social care sectors with a proven record of facilitating workforce transformation in care quality and service delivery.
She has significant experience of successfully managing and delivering portfolios of complex multi-agency workforce development and service improvement projects at a national, regional and organisational level. With excellent interpersonal skills, Jan can adapt style and approach as required to the working environment.
Jan currently holds responsibility for the planning and delivery of a portfolio of commissioned assignments and programmes of work using highly developed project management skills. She provides specialist advice and facilitation in areas of expertise including workforce planning, workforce and skills development, stakeholder engagement and change management.
Having designed and delivered a wide range of development and design projects in the public sector. Jan has recently designed and facilitated an approach to building capacity and capability in workforce planning, developing the workforce plan for maternity services via an Accelerated Learning Development Programme with supported Action Learning Sets. This approach brought together service commissioners, providers and service users to develop a realistic workforce plan based on a common vision, understanding and agreed models of care.
